On May 28, 2020, the joint research team consisting of Professor Zhang Baoting from the School of Chinese Medicine at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (corresponding author), Professor Zhang Ge from the Institute for Translational Medicine in Bone & Joint Diseases (TMBJ) at Hong Kong Baptist University (co-corresponding author), Professor Lyu Aiping from the Institute of Integrative Bioinformatics Medicine and Translational Science (IBTS) at Hong Kong Baptist University (co-corresponding author), and Dr. Zhuo Zhenjian from Aptacure Therapeutics Limited (first author), published an article in the journal ADVANCED SCIENCE (IF= 15.804). The article, titled "A Loop-based and AGO-incorporated Virtual Screening Model Targeting AGO-mediated miRNA-mRNA Interactions for Drug Discovery to Rescue Bone Phenotype in Genetically Modified Mice," presents a new strategy for virtual screening of natural products targeting non-coding RNA miRNA targets, which is noteworthy.
