November 02, 2022

The university's Research Office held the BlueSky Research Fund Open Forum on September 14, where 28 applicants presented their innovative research plans covering a wide range of fields including art technology, disease detection, artificial intelligence, climate change, and pollution. During the forum, fund applicants and participants engaged in discussions and exchanged ideas.

Vice President (Research and Development) Professor Guo Yike said, "Driving research with curiosity is an essential trait for scholars. Scientific progress is not always driven by clear agendas, tangible or measurable outcomes. Unexpected scientific breakthroughs sometimes hold more value than research results driven by agendas, and may take years or even decades to bear fruit."
