Institute for Advancing Translational Medicine in Bone & Joint Diseases (TMBJ), in collaboration with Aptacure, showcased Apc001 at the "Innovation and Technology Carnival 2022"

To promote the culture of innovation and technology within the community, the "Innovation and Technology Carnival 2022" organized by the Innovation and Technology Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region was held at the Hong Kong Science Park from October 22 to 30, 2022. This year's carnival was one of the events celebrating the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

The nine-day carnival, themed "Empowering Innovation, Embarking Dreams," featured a series of interactive and educational activities, including local inventions and research exhibitions, online workshops on innovative technology, online lectures, and interactive games, welcoming public participation.

Institute for Advancing Translational Medicine in Bone & Joint Diseases (TMBJ), in collaboration with Aptacure, showcased Apc001 at the "Innovation and Technology Carnival 2022." The Apc001 project was presented under two main themes. Theme one focused on "Combating bone loss caused by microgravity in space exploration and obtaining orphan drug designation from the U.S. FDA for the treatment of osteogenesis imperfecta." Theme two highlighted "Innovative space application syringe design." The exhibition booth of Apc001 was visited by leaders of the Hong Kong SAR government, led by Professor Sun Dong, the Secretary for Innovation and Technology.
