The Hong Kong Baptist University held an Awards Presentation Ceremony today (24 May) to present a number of awards to distinguished academic staff in recognition of their outstanding contributions to performance areas of teaching, scholarly work and services. Prof. Zhang Ge was awarded the President’s Award for Outstanding Performance in Scholarly Work because of his exemplary and highly-recognized record in research together with the tireless efforts in services that were beneficial to the University’s work and its external stature. In addition, Prof. Zhang expressed his gratitude for the support and encouragement from colleagues of the school and the University, as well as the members in his research team. Finally, he thanked his dearest wife and his daughter for their constant company.
