Prof. Zhang and Dr. Liang in Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) have performed a long-term collaborative project entitled “Mechanism of post-translational modification in protein homeostasis control” with the Chinese Academy of Military Medical Science and the Chinese PLA General Hospital. Recently, the collaborative project won the first prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award (2017). The outputs from the projects were published on Nature Medicine.

 Prof. Zhang is the Associate Director of the Law Sau Fai Institute for Advancing Translational Medicine in Bone and Joint Diseases in HKBU. Dr. Liang Chao is the Research Assistant Professor in the Law Sau Fai Institute for Advancing Translational Medicine in Bone and Joint Diseases in HKBU.
