A collaborative research done by Postdoctoral Research Fellow Chao Liang, Research Assistant Professor Fangfei Li and Ph.D. student Luyao Wang was published in “Biomaterials” (Journal Impact Factors: 8.402). The work entitled “Tumor cell-targeted delivery of CRISPR/Cas9 by aptamer-functionalized lipopolymer for therapeutic genome editing of VEGFA in osteosarcoma” developed an in vivo osteosarcoma-targeting delivery system for CRISPR/Cas9. This work will provide an experimental-based strategy for clinical translation of CRISPR/Cas9.
