Prof. Zhang Ge and other TMBJ members Dr. Li Fangfei, Dr. Liang Chao, Mr. Wu Xiaohao, and Ms. Wang Luyao attended the 8th International Conference on Osteoporosis and Bone Research in Chongqing on October 19-22, 2016. Prof. Zhang Ge, the Deputy Director of TMBJ, was invited to give a speech entitled “Osteoclast-derived exosomal miR-214 inhibits bone formation”. Dr. Liang Chao introduced his study entitled “Inhibition of osteoblastic Smurf1 promotes bone formation in distinctive individuals with age-related osteoporosis” in the meeting and won the Best Paper Award. Mr. Wu Xiaohao and Ms. Wang Luyao separately introduced their studies on “Alterations of Gut Microbiome in Rheuma toid Arthritis” and “Tumor cell-targeted delivery of CRISPR/Cas9 by aptamer-functionalized lipopolymer for therapeutic genome editing of VEGFA in osteosarcoma”, and both won the Webster Jee Travel Award
