The 23^rd Annual Conference of Hong Kong Institution of Science will be held on 5 December 2015 in Chinese University of Hong Kong. To reward young scientists and engineers in Hong Kong who show great promise in their field of study, three awards will be given annually at the HKIS Annual Conference in research fields including physical/mathematical science, life science and engineering science. Ph. D. student Liang Chao from TMBJ was selected as one of the two Candidates of the 2015 Young Scientist Award in Life Science and was invited to present his work in the conference.
