Institute for Advancing Translational Medicine in Bone & Joint Diseases (TMBJ) in Hong Kong Baptist University and Beijing Tide Pharmaceutical Co., LTD (Tide) signed a cooperation framework agreement on 8 July, 2015 in Hong Kong, setting the way forward for collaborations in drug discovery.

The signing of the agreement by Professor Lu Aiping (Director of TMBJ) and Ms. Zheng Xiangling (Managing Director of Tide) was witnessed by all the participants.

Under the agreement, the collaborations between TMBJ and Tide will focus on the discovery of new siRNA drugs to treat chronic inflammatory diseases, autoimmune diseases, and bone and joint diseases as well as the development of new drug delivery systems.
