A collaborative research done by Post-doctoral fellow Dr. He Yixin, PhD student Liu Jin and Research assistant professor Guo baosheng in TMBJ was published in “Scientific Reports” (Impact factor 5.078).The work named “Src inhibitor reduces permeability without disturbing vascularization and prevents bone destruction in steroid-associated osteonecrotic lesions in rabbits”. It suggested that supplement of VEGF while inhibiting Src could be a new therapeutic strategy for steroid-associated osteonecrotic patients with high risk of subchondral collapse.
