Prof. Cheng DONG, the professor from Department of Biomedical Engineering, the Pennsylvania State University, was invited by Dr. Ge Zhang, the Deputy Director of Institute for Advancing Translational Medicine in Bone & Joint Diseases (TMBJ) to deliver a lecture on Circulatory Tumor Microenvironment.

In the communication, Prof. Cheng DONG introduced thelatest works of his research group and shared his insights on ‘how Circulatory Tumor Microenvironment was related to tumor metastases’. Then Prof. Cheng DONG had warm discussions with research staffs of TMBJ on how to establish a tumorspecific delivery system by using the immunes cells as drug carrier, which weresignificant in fostering new approaches to cancer treatment through potential immune cell-mediated drug deliveries and therapeutics.
